On 25-Nov-2013 officials of the South Pacific island nation of Kiribati signed the final agreement for the acquisition of MSN 831, for expected delivery in Apr-2014. 

CAAMS currently has U.S. registration N831WJ reserved, presumably for application to the aircraft above.

In the realm of things you can run across while scouring the web for Twin Otters, below are some interesting images (unfortunately undated). While a large number of Twin Otters were delivered to Libya, the fate of many remain uncertain. The photographs below provide some clues to the possible whereabouts of MSN 444, 637, 661, 677, 744, 747 and  757.

As is often the case there is more than one spelling of the location, I have gone with what is on Google Maps.

Looking a little worse for wear, but at least intact is MSN 444 which was imported to Libya in 1975 for Occidental, and later becoming Zueitina Oil.

This flight plan initially appeared on Thursday (14-Nov-2013) as Victoria to Ketchikan, and was refiled for departure Friday (15-Nov-2013) on a Victoria to Juneau route instead. Due to en route weather considerations the departure was pushed back until today. This is aircraft number 3 for MASwings.

The aircraft has landed safely in Juneau, completing the journey from Victoria in approx. 5 hours and 25 minutes.

Purely guesswork - but perhaps either bound for Nature Air in Costa Rica, or two additional (or replacement) aircraft for LCPeru.  Then again, it could also be neither...

During the roll out after landing at Sanikiluaq, NU a wind gust blew the aircraft approximately 100 feet off of the runway. The right wing sustained damage in the excursion from the runway, with one report indicating a partial separation of the wing at the fuselage attachment point.
