Given that the company's other Twn Otter N564DH flew Sitka-Ketchikan-Victoria yesterday 28-Apr-2012 it appears they have dropped off one (N564DH), and picked up another. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a record of when N716JP arrived in Victoria however.

The last time we saw N564DH in the lower 48 was last year to/from Georgia where it received attention at Air Services Inc. (ASI) and a repaint at Aero Paint II.

Flew Broome, Western Australia (YBRM) - Townsville, Queensland (YBTL) 26-Apr-2012 completing a transcontinental "across the top" journey through Australia in 9 hrs & 3 mins. On 28-Apr-2012 it has filed to continue on from Townsville to home base at Noumea-La Tontouta (NWWW). The aircraft is currently all white, with no titles.

Continuing it's delivery flight toward Libya, the aircraft flew Buouchs/Stans, Switzerland (LSZC) to Altenrhein, Switzerland (LSZR) 26-Apr-2012, and Altenrhein to Malta (LMML) 28-Apr-2012. The aircraft began it's delivery flight from Victoria on 21-Apr-2012.

I'm presuming this has been away for maintenance, but am not seeing any flights before the departure from Male. Was it with Maldivian Air Taxi or Trans Maldivian for a check?

682 - DHC-6-300 PJ-WII Winair, Saint Maarten

Noted at Saint Maarten during Mar-2012 as such, however not yet in service, ex C-GKGQ; this is the aircraft that was acquired from Unity Group, and ferried from West Georgia Regional (KCTJ) to Fort Lauderdale (KFLL) on 28-Feb-2012.

Noted at Victoria 25-Apr-2012, now on amphibious floats. The aircraft had returned to Victoria from French Valley (F70) on 14-Apr-2012.

Incident Report

462 - DHC-6-300 PK-YRF Trigana Air, Jakarta

After landing at the Mulia Airport (WAJM) in the province of Papua on 08-Apr-2012, the aircraft was hit by gunfire from the surrounding hills. Both Pilots were injured, and three passengers sustained injuries, one fatal. After the attack the aircraft collided with an airport building.

MSN 462 was originally delivered to NorOntair as C-GGVX in 1975, operated in Germany as D-ISKY from 1995 to 2002, and became PK-YRF in December 2002.
