351 - DHC-6-300 HB-LUC Zimex Aviation, Glattbrugg

As covered in the blog entry of 24-Sep-2012, HB-LUC was noted at Bratislava, Slovakia on that date in full PT Air Born (Air Borneo) colours and carrying new Indonesian registration PK-BAE. On 04-Oct-2012 the aircraft reverted to Swiss registry as HB-LUC and departed Bratislava on delivery, bound for Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt (HESH).


812 - DHC-6-300 9N-ABT Nepal Airlines, Kathmandu

Reportedly left the runway & became stuck in a drainage area on take-off at Jomsom, Nepal 05-Oct-2012. The aircraft was operating a scheduled service to Pokhara, there were no injuries or damage to the aircraft.

On 19-Aug-2012 a Tara Air DHC-6-300 9N-ABQ (MSN 655) also suffered a runway excursion at the same location.

Viking Series 400 MSN 862 C-GLVA(4) arrived at the Ikhana Group facility at Murietta-French Valley, California on 07-Sep-2012. It has U.S. registration N762RT reserved for it in due course, and will eventually take up U.S. Army marks and serial.

Completed it's ferry flight back to North America on 30-Sep-2012 when it arrived at West Palm Beach, FL. The aircraft had originally departed from Rosharon, TX (TE88) on 09-Mar-2012, and entered the Altenrhein Aviation facility for complete rebuild on 13-Mar-2012, leaving there again on 27-Sep-2012. The aircraft was ferried over and back by Canada's Planes & Parts Ltd.
