As predicted in yesterday's blog entry; the aircraft was registered to Planes & Parts Ltd., Turner Valley, AB 01-May-2013. This is one of the final steps in preparing the aircraft for the ferry flight to Indonesia.
Haven't seen a flight plan for it as yet, but once it is ready to go presumably it will head towards Spokane and perhaps North Bend before beginning the trans Pacific trek.
852 - DHC-6-400 80262 U.S. Army Golden Knights
As covered previously in the blog, the first Series 400 for the U.S. Army Golden Knights was transferred to military serial in Feb-2013. As only five digits of the serial are actually displayed on the aircraft, we were not sure of the full serial, which is 0800262.
