Despite a registration that was previously indicative of Airfast Indonesia, 882 appears to be the second unit for Global Aerospace Logistics. It carries the marks 2271 for the U.A.E. Air Force under tape.

Looks like N223AL made a fairly quick trip down to the Win Aviation maintenance facility in DeKalb over the past few days. This aircraft has been operating in Quebec for Parachutisme NouvelAir since Apr-2013. As far as the routing goes, it would also appear there was a stop between Ogdensburg and DeKalb, somewhere in the vicinity of Detroit.

N153QS has been noted flying from Victoria for the past 2-3 days, and given the types of routings that are being seen, it appears to be training missions. The aircraft returned from French Valley on 04-Jul-2013, and was placed on amphibious floats by 21-Jul-2013.

Registration cancelled 18-Jul-2013.

C-GVTU flew to the Ikhana facility in French Valley, CA on 11-Jul-2013 upon completion of Vietnam crew training operations by Pacific Sky. I suspect that the cancellation is temporary and it will be re-registered back to Viking Air in short order, as it is not yet ready for delivery to the Customer.

The Province of Manitoba's second Twin Otter, C-GBEB has filed for departure from Springbank later this afternoon, on delivery to Winnipeg.

 

The aircraft's return to service with the Province of Manitoba comes after being out of use for just a few days short of five-years. It had crashed in the Northwest Territories on 16-Jul-2008, and was subsequently rebuilt by Rocky Mountain Aircraft.

This is the third Vietnamese aircraft to enter Ikhana for pre-delivery modifications. Delivery of the first actual aircraft to Vietnam will likely occur later this year.

 

The aircraft can be seen taxiing below earlier this morning prior to its departure to California.

If this is the delivery flight, we should expect to see a cancellation of the Canadian registration shortly.

The picture below shows the aircraft while still registered C-FVAM (it became N153QS on 05-May-2013). There is a very nice set of similarly painted amphibious floats sitting in Victoria, so it could be suggested that they are ultimately to be fitted to N153QS.
