Improvements in the local and en route weather have allowed C-GFAP to depart Anchorage, and the aircraft is now (at the time of writing) passing the half way mark to Nome.

 

Given the many previous transits of Anadyr on delivery flights, I'd expect that C-GFAP will spend tonight in Nome, as the Russian airport will not accept a weekend arrival. Accordingly, this would necessitate a departure from Nome no earlier than tomorrow (which of course is Monday in that part of Russia).

N675BA is the third Twin Otter registered to Berry since Jul-2013, the first two already having been positioned to Africa.

The two Berry Aviation aircraft are today continuing on their positioning ferries that are being flown by Southern Cross Aviation, as SXA1074 & SXA 1075. It is still not entirely clear whether they will route across the North Atlantic, or perhaps from St. John's to the Azores - the latter being a more direct route to their expected final destination.

Both FP's for today's flights to St. John's seem to have disappeared, so I'm not sure whether the aircraft moved from Bangor or not.

Presuming the filed flight plans are correct, both of the Berry Aviation Twin Otters are being ferried today under Southern Cross Aviation flight numbers SXA1074 & SXA1075. Both aircraft have now departed San Marcos, with the second one in trail by about 90 minutes.

I'd suspect that this is the beginning of their positioning run to the contract base.

Maldives Update

 

With the integration of Maldivian Air Taxi and Trans Maldivian Airways, there have been some recent changes with respect to registered ownership of the aircraft. Of course it couldn't just be an easy same date, same transaction for each one. Several TMA aircraft were initially re-registered to MAT during the Mar/Apr/May-2013 period, then reverted again to TMA in Aug-2013, while others followed the same pattern without a date attached to their transfer from TMA to MAT.
