Although the elaborate tail scheme had yet to be applied, C-GKSQ is seen below in the basic colours of Island Aviation Services of the Maldives. The aircraft continues to be made ready for delivery to Male, where it will join MSN 358 which arrived on 17-Apr-2014.
C-GKSQ was previously operated by the former Maldivian Air Taxi (now Trans Maldivian) as 8Q-MAK from 1999 to 2009, and subsequently in Sri Lanka and Papua New Guinea. It was returned to Canada by Worldwide Ferry/Planes & Parts in Dec-2013, and the same company will also position the aircraft to the Maldives shortly.
