Pictured taxiing at Honiara, Solomons DHC-6-300 H4-SID (MSN 442) will be out of airframe life at some point next week, and is expected to be flown to Cairns, QLD for re-life package carried out by Hevilift. H4-SID has been in the Solomons since 1994, and was originally delivered to Air Mauritius in 1974 as 3B-NAB

Also at Honiara, seen under tow is DHC-6-300 H4-OTA, still in the basic Airlines PNG colour scheme. Although we don't have a serial number for this aircraft it appears the likely candidate is MSN 280, the former P2-MCV. This aircraft last flew for Airlines PNG on 11-Sep-2013, and was subsequently ferried via Buka, PNG to Honiara on 26-Oct-2013.
