Pictured below is MSN 655, 9N-AKM courtesy of AviationNepal. This aircraft is a rebuild, formerly known as 9N-ABQ which had suffered accidents in 1997 and 2002 and was subsequently grounded in Kathmandu for a further ten years. It was repaired in Jan-2012 to be operated by Tara Air, however it was damaged again in Aug-2012, and then Sep-2012, the latter of which necessitated the rebuild that was completed in 2015. It had been offered for sale with a TT of 25,190 hrs with zero time engines and new wings.
According to AviationNepal the aircraft has returned to Tara Air, and the style of the registration and Nepal flag do match the recently delivered DHC-6-400 9N-AKL, however minus the titles.
