A spectacular shot by Rick Nielson of South Nahanni's C-GGLE on the Liard River. Although an early 1967 model built for East West Airlines in Australia, it now has -200 series wings and -34 engines.

Flew Calgary-Int'l, AB - Kansas City-Int'l, MO - Orlando-Executive, FL 27-Feb-2017. Aircraft had returned from previous lease to Winair in May 2016, and recently had received an all white paint scheme.

Twin Otter Update for 26-Feb-2017

While doing some exploring on FB, I ran across quite a few Twin Otter pictures from various pages and groups. Here are a few, with thanks to the original photographers.

MSN 343 below was leased by Westflight for the 1985 and 1986 seasons, after having started life with Wardair as CF-WAG. It remains in service today with the Washington Group as N167WC.

Most often referred to as "Taco" due to its previous operator Aerotaca, MSN 608 spent a good portion of its early life in Colombia, with a fairly brief gig in the U.S.V.I. in the mid 1980's. Sadly, it crashed in 2006 in French Polynesia with Air Moorea.

Seaborne operated several Twin Otters over the years, seasonally in Alaska and the Caribbean. MSN 772 remains in service today with Grand Canyon.

Flew Victoria-Int'l, BC - Portland-Hillsboro, OR - Calgary-Int'l, AB 17-Feb-2017. Aircraft had arrived in Victoria on 12-Aug-2016 following painting, and is seen in the photo below with thanks to Tim Martin.

A brief trip into the U.S. (or to international waters) often means a transfer of title is being undertaken. I suspect this is the case here, particularly with it having continued on to Calgary.

The Hevilift operated DHC-6-400 P2-IRN flew Port Moresby - Cairns on 03-Feb-2016 and is seen below with thanks to Paul Howard. Since it was last photographed, it has shed the OK Tedi Mining logo on the tail in favor of the OK Tedi Development Foundation one, which was previously on the nose.
